I Will Never use Tampons Again!

Periods. They are messy, stressful, painful and...hurting our planet?
Say what!?
That's right your period, if your using tampons, is hurting mama earth :(
Women use up to 12,000 menstrual hygiene products during their life time which equate to 300 lbs of waste! This waste ends up sitting in our landfill and getting into our ground water which is no beuno.
Another issue with tampons is that they are bleached in chlorine which is absorbed into the blood stream reeking havoc in your body and can cause breast cancer, endometriosis and more! Many are scented as well which can change the ph of your yoni making you susceptible to yeast infections.
Tampons can cause vaginal dryness and create the perfect environment for bacteria which can lead to toxic shock syndrome which is a fatal disease.
This is why I changed to the Diva cup. I love this menstrual cup because it is easy to use, is re-usable, eco-friendly, and I don't have to worry about leakage.
Every women should be making this switch.
