How To Deal With Anxiety

Theres nothing worse than the body shaking, heart pumping effects of anxiety. 


For me anxiety always comes from the future. I am always anxious about future schooling plans, building a career, about where I will live, how I will get there, how my bills will be paid etc. Its always in these times that I am out of my body and in my head too much that anxiety hits the hardest. 



So what to do when this happens to you?

It's simple- BREATHE. 


Breathing does two things for us

1) Brings us back into our body and out of our mind where the fear of the future lies. 

2) Puts us in the parasympathetic nervous system state where we are relaxed and calm. 


Its hilarious.. well sad really... that so many people look for the next drug or supplement to take away their anxiety when in reality the best medicine is YOUR BREATHE.... and guess what!?
