Hoarding Food || Weird ED Behaviors

Hoarding food, hiding food, being overprotective about food, carrying food around with you everywhere you go...these are just some of the weird things that I started doing during my eating disorder.

I am not alone in this.

Many people have different behaviors and character traits that come out during energy deficit that are a result of the state of health their body is in.

In today's video, I share how my malnutrition led to my brain thinking it's in a famine wherein anytime I saw food I had to grab it and hold onto it. This became a compulsive obsession that cost me a lot of money.

I am happy to say that after nutritionally rehabilitating I do not feel the need to keep food around me 24/7 and can buy exactly what I need at the grocery store.

Watch the video to learn more about why many start hoarding food during their eating disorder and what the solution to sed behavior is.
